About

We walk a lot: our daily average is more than 6 km.  One of our motivators is that next year’s driving holiday has to cover less kilometres than we walked the previous year. Our daily numbers aren’t up to what our friends achieve walking the El Camino but they’re getting longer each year.

We enjoy wine – and would like to share what we’ve found in wines that we like. Having a Goddess of Wine in our court has certainly stepped up the quality of selections.

The Greeks have a word for it.  Meraki – doing it with soul, creativity or love. It’s when you put something of yourself into what you are doing.  It can be used to describe cooking, or choosing wine, music, or what you do with friends.  So we’re upping the Meraki.

We don’t do Facebook, Twitter or other social media – so don’t bother looking for us there. We do it all here.
