Carmenere is actually an historic Bordeaux varietal and is often mistaken for Merlot.
The vintner originally hails from Veneto Italy.
It is a real gem. This Chilean Carmenere has a silky, concentrated palate, and a dry finish that goes on and on. It’s best served in a big glass. And continually refilled!
